A public mention of an organisation does not by itself mean a formal partnership; 4PLANET distinguishes research, candidate relationships, active pilots and confirmed partnerships.

Where collaboration involves environmental action, the preferred model is transparent about who receives funding, who performs the work, what evidence is available and what can or cannot be claimed as an outcome.
